DIY St. Patrick’s Day Banner

Hey Crafty Friends!

Well, Valentine’s day is over and all the stores have Spring/Easter stuff out, but here in Michigan we currently have 50 mph winds and snow, so I’m feeling real “springy”. So, why not make some cute St. Patty’s Day crafts. I have been on a banner kick lately, so this is what I came up with.

I found these cute little guys in Cricut Design Space and made a quick banner.

Here are the details of the design:

  • Leprechaun is from the Simply Charmed cartridge which is included in the Cricut Access Subscription.
  • LUCKY is a Cricut Font called Base Camp it is NOT included in the Cricut Access Subscription.
  • The Banner shape is from the Bits and Pieces cartridge and is included in the Cricut Access Subscription.

I liked how he came out. Here is the project share video:

Valentine’s Day Embellishments for 2019 – Milkshakes

Hey Crafty Friends!

Here is my last project share for Valentine’s Day embellishments. I was inspired by a fellow IG paper crafter. Here name on IG is Kenziscraps, you can check her out here. She has the cutest embellishments.

Out of all the projects, these were the most time consuming. I created these from a die set. I love my die sets, but I just wish I could cut them out more than one at time. I used paper from Joann’s and Michaels. Again, another project you can change the look for any holiday or season.

Here is the quick project share video. Hopefully, you will get some “me time crafting” in to create some. 😁

Valentine’s Day Embellishments for 2019 – Banner Clips

Hey Crafty Friends!

Another wonderful Valentine’s Day embellishment project inspired by a fellow YouTuber. This idea came from Crafting with Liller (I linked the video here). She has a bunch of great tutorials and project shares. I wish I had enough time to sit down and follow all her tutorials and make a rack of pretty stuff! She is has a ton of cute projects. I defiantly want to try my hand at a few of her recent project shares.

The thing I love most about these banners are how quick they are to make. Another plus is, I used all scraps! I used die cuts from a pack I bought from Michaels and I really got a lot of use out of it. The gold paper clips are from Staples. After I decided on the paper I was going to use, it only took about 15 mins to finish. I will be using them for happy mail or in my planner. Again, another project you can change the look for any holiday or season.

Valentine’s Day Embellishments for 2019 – Vellum Rosettes

Hey Crafty Friends!

Another easy and quick project inspired from YouTube. I found this wonderful video from The Paperie Box I linked it here. She has a great tutorial on how to create them. This was part of her “build your stash” series. Which is defiantly a goal for me in 2019.

I love how versatile the vellum rosettes are. You can use any kind of washi and change the look for any holiday or season. I plan on making lots more! These vellum rosettes are great for sending in happy mail or to just pop them on a packing to pretty it up.

Valentine’s Day Embellishments for 2019 – Memorydex cards

Hey Crafty Friends!

I can watch YouTube videos all day! I love there is so much inspiration out there. I find so many cute projects, pin them and then … nothing. One of my goals this year is to sit down and enjoy some “me time crafting”.

There are so many wonderful memorydex project shares on IG and YouTube. Now, I have never made one and do not have a “rolodex” to put them in, but I wanted to make one anyway. I was unable to get my hands on any of the old Heidi Swap memorydex dies, but I did come across Lorrie Nunemaker’s memorydex tutorial. She explains how to create one in Cricut Design Space. She even has a free file you can download. I’ll link her video here. She has a great tutorial on how to create your own cards in CDS. I will definitely be making more.
