3 Mini Purse Treat Bags

Hey Crafty Friends!

I am totally obsessed with these cute little purse treat bags! I will definitely be making more of these! These bags would be awesome as party favors or gift card holders. There are so many things that you could use these treat bags for.

I found these designs in the Silhouette Design Store. I purchased them with the svg file and then brought them into Cricut Design Space to cut them with my Cricut. In an earlier post I used the same method to make a little basket for my Peeps candy. There is a bit of clean up needed for most files that you bring into Cricut Design Space, but once you do it, it is worth it.

These treat bags are really easy to assemble. I found that there were only a few pieces to each bag. Which is always nice. Since you are using an svg file, you are able to increase or decrease the size of the treat bag to fit your need.

In the project share video below, you can see more details on the treat bags.

Hey Crafty Friends!

Mr. Craftini Time and I are defiantly big Marvel fans.  So, we are extra excited to see the new Avengers Endgame movie this weekend. 🤓 We bought our tickets a couple of weeks ago and are ready 3 hours of excitement.  This post is a little late because we were not able to see the movie until Saturday, so we were on a social media blackout to avoid any spoilers.

I have been on a 3D paper craft project kick lately, so I wanted to make something 3D.  You can check out the Peeps Basket I made a couple of weeks ago for one of my Easter projects  here on the blog and the YouTube video here.

So, I went searching for a cut file that looked like the gems or some type of stones.  I came a crossed a couple in the Silhouette Design Store, I purchased both.  But, I found some issues with one of them after bringing them into Cricut Design Space and ended up going with this one – Design ID 145559.  I go into more details about the issues in the video project share below.

There are 5 different color stones, so I used some glitter paper to create them.

You can check out how they came out below.

Hopefully, in the week or so, I will finish the  tutorial on how to bring in svg files purchased from the Silhouette Design Store into Cricut Design Space.

Thanks for stopping by!

Spider-man Birthday Card

Hey Crafty Friends,

I created this quick and easy Spider-man Birthday Card in Cricut Design Space (CDS). The design was originally from one of the Cricut digital mystery boxes that came out last year. These designs are NOT included in the Cricut Access subscription, but you can purchase them.

Here is a breakdown of what I used:

White 5×7 card base

Kawaii Spider-man design from CDS

The background is digital paper that I brought into CDS as a pattern and resized it to fit correctly on my card base.

And few foam dots to pop him up

I posted a quick project share on the channel. Check it out below

Create Easy Easter Projects with your Cricut

Hey Crafty Friends!

Lately, I have seen so much Easter project inspiration on Instagram! There are so many cute 3D paper projects popping up on my timeline. You can make anything from gift boxes, treat bags or even an adorable purse! Now you can create these cute projects from SVG files on your Cricut or Silhouette cutting machines.

With so many options, I am currently obsessed with making anything that is 3D. The Silhouette Design Store has soooooo many designs to choose from. Even if you do not own a Silhouette machine, you can purchase the svg file in the Silhouette Design Store and bring it into Cricut Design Space to cut using your Cricut machine. I picked a couple of designs, imported them in CDS and had so much fun.

I found this super cute bunny basket, here. The Design ID is 121694. How cute did this come out?!? I absolutely love it! I was able to fit 6 peeps in here.

Basket of Peeps

The next project was this Egg Favor bag. The file is from Lori Whitlock and you can purchase it on her site, here or from the Silhouette Design Store. The Design ID at the Silhouette Design Store is 190117. (Sorry I am unable to link directly to the design). This bag is perfect for loading up with candy or cute embellishments to send in happy mail. It was super quick to put together and you can make them in every color.

DIY St. Patrick’s Day Banner

Hey Crafty Friends!

Well, Valentine’s day is over and all the stores have Spring/Easter stuff out, but here in Michigan we currently have 50 mph winds and snow, so I’m feeling real “springy”. So, why not make some cute St. Patty’s Day crafts. I have been on a banner kick lately, so this is what I came up with.

I found these cute little guys in Cricut Design Space and made a quick banner.

Here are the details of the design:

  • Leprechaun is from the Simply Charmed cartridge which is included in the Cricut Access Subscription.
  • LUCKY is a Cricut Font called Base Camp it is NOT included in the Cricut Access Subscription.
  • The Banner shape is from the Bits and Pieces cartridge and is included in the Cricut Access Subscription.

I liked how he came out. Here is the project share video:
