How We Determine Your Project Cost

A 60-minute chat to understand your vision, discuss concepts, and identify key requirements. This initial consultation is always complimentary.
Material Selection & Sourcing
The choice of materials (e.g., specific woods, fabrics, clays, electronics) directly impacts cost. We source from trusted local suppliers in the NW London area.
Crafting Hours & Complexity
Our artisans typically spend 20-200 hours on a custom piece. Intricate details, fine motor skills, and specialized techniques factor significantly into the final labor cost.
Finishing Touches & Detailing
Painting, sealing, articulation, and any bespoke elements like custom stands or packaging are included. Expect 10-30% of total labor dedicated to these critical final stages.

Do you offer payment plans for larger projects?
Yes, for projects over £1,000, we typically offer a 50% upfront deposit, with the remaining balance split into 1-2 installments during the production phase. Full payment is due upon completion.
What happens if I need to make changes during the crafting process?
Minor adjustments are usually accommodated. Significant changes to the design brief after work has begun may incur additional costs, which we will always discuss with you beforehand and provide a revised estimate.
Is there a warranty on your handcrafted items?
We offer a 6-month warranty on craftsmanship for all custom pieces, covering any defects in materials or construction under normal use. Damage from misuse or accidents is not covered.
Are your prices inclusive of VAT?
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added at the current UK rate (20%) to the final invoice.
