Hi Crafty Friends!

I finally made my first mini album! YAY! 😁 I love mini albums and have been watching TONS of YouTube videos to learn how to make one. Then, the other day I was in my local scrapbook store and I found the new Doodlebug Designs: I ❤️Travel paper collection. It is so cute! I thought the paper would be perfect for a mini album.

I decided to followed one of Rosa Kelly’s Scrapbooking tutorials, here is the exact one I followed. She is a great teacher. I really learned a lot and I think it turned out great.

Issa Link Party Vol. 2 – Hosted by Scrapdaworld 3×3 Boxed Notecards

Hey Crafty Friends,

I just realized I never posted about Issa Link Party Vol 1 🙃… if you are interested you can see the video response here on the YouTube channel.  I will write a post about it later in the week to try and catch up.  

Scrapdaworld is hosting a Issa Link Party every month on her blog and YT channel.  You can see the Vol 2 (February) challenge here.  I really like this idea for a few reasons:  

  1. It helps me get my “craft therapy” in each month
  2. She picks the project, so I don’t spend 3 hours just looking at paper lol 🙄
  3. She even provides a tutorial to make it 😁
  4. You also get to check out/follow crafters new crafty friends

This 3×3 boxed notecard set was very easy to create and came together quickly. I only used 1 page of design paper and still had scraps left over. I also used a die to create the paper tassel. All the paper is from Michaels.
