First Swap of 2019 Postcard/Dangle Swap – Hosted by Scrapdaworld

Hey Crafty Friends!

I love watching Scrapdaworld’s reveal videos of all her swaps. You can find so much crafty inspiration. I really like that she changes up the swaps. It is never the same project. When I saw here video on opening up this swap, I hesitated for a few seconds, but then I went ahead and entered it. And I’m glad I did.

I needed to get out of my comfort zone, we all need to get out of our comfort zone. I guess I have been watching/reading too much Mel Robbins 🤓 It was great to push myself and get my Crafty Mojo back.

I won’t give you a story and tell you I figured out what I was going to make, then sat down and made it. My crafty mojo was low, so I headed right over to Pinterest and checked out some stuff, then ended up pining 8000 outfits, cute pet pics, random home decor pics and then realized I forgot why I went there in the first place. LOL 🤣

I love hot cocoa and it IS winter, so I went with that theme. I found UNICORN HOT COCOA on Pinterest! I did not even know that was a thing. So, I went with that color scheme.

I also followed a tutorial on Youtube for the Flipbox and then started crafting. I enjoyed it and I can’t wait to see what my swap partners came up with. I did not take many pics, but I did film a quick project share.
